I say we revive it. We could really evolve the storyline and perhaps give insight as to the inner workings of the Damascan kingdoms should we decide to actually try - Which is something that has been denied for a long, long time. I'm not talking about changing anything this time; What I'm talking about is to do the following all at the same time:
- Alleviate boredom
- Stretch those writing muscles for when we need dialogue and quest descriptions
- Provide insight as to how things really work in Damasca
- Provide a sufficiently detailed backstory to introduce the game (not the ancient history we have now; I mean something like very recent history).
- Keep the creative juices flowing and keep everyone involved checking the forums more often
- Bring the game to the personal level again
- And much, much more! =D
Now, if we were to do such a thing, we would have to have a way of marking which strains of RP are canon (accepted into the backstory as having definitely happened) and non-canon (accepted as a fanciful foray into the Damasca world without affecting the history books). It would likely happen either beforehand (planned) or after the fact (unplanned).
... Remember when it was cool to be a member of a certain kingdom? Yeah. Let's do that again. _________________

For Canon/Non-canon, the first thing that immediately comes to mind is a thread icon of a little cannon. Any RP thread with that icon would be considered canon, the rest would not. _________________

As he dies, he uses the last of his remaining strength to summon all the foxes in the world to yiff Crono until he explodes. _________________

I'm going to start a story if nobody minds. It's about Magathrea. If there are Damasca canon problems or something just let me know. |
