While it's great that Shaun is posting again and Kreep is back, we're still left with the issue of contacting our other oldbies and attracting - And keeping - newbies. The latter can be done by ADVERTISING, not posting SPAM in welcome posts (Mind the Swedes), and actually producing more content. The former can be difficult.

To date, I have been unsuccessful in contacting oldbies. Rai Seiko, M-Teki, Pickle Weasel, (Did Aeglos die?), (Where'd Celine go?), R4V3R, Synial, Turles, Spook, Timmeea, (AvPPoW apparently wasn't too impressed with us or he may have stuck around), BurntToast, DixoN...

EDIT: Speak of the devil... Spook was just on.

Last I talked to him, all baron grim talked about was doing drugs. So don't take it too bad if you can't contact some of them, it's more for the best in his case!

After posting this I looked to see if he was a member and he was and I guess you guys already know he's all about using drugs so sorry to rehash old news.

Yeah, the Baron has come back a few times, mostly light singes and nonsensical spammery.

I'm not sure *what* happened to Water Buffalo, and as for Ryban, last I heard he wasn't interested in the project, though that was a good few years ago. Could be that since progress has been made, he might change his mind.

Speaking of progress, I'm curious to know what progress has been made over the past few weeks, especially any engine-related progress. On that note, Kreep, do you happen to know of anyone who's half-decent at spriting that could lend us a hand?

I relied on my girlfriend to make me stuff when I made some games (she goes to the cleveland institute of art) I could ask her how interested she would be. Other than that, I don't know anyone whos any good at computer art, sorry.

Also I can't really guarantee she would dedicate very much time to it because she has a lot of projects at school so she could probably help only a little and you might be better off with someone who could be more dedicated. but i'll still ask

remember, water buffalo had his little brother take his place after he went off to roadtrip and college. you could tell his younger brother didn't have the same interest in the project before he ultimately disappeared. i don't think little beefalo would be interested in coming back and i would assume big beefalo to have grown up in a different direction from the rest of us by now.

is celine currently in college or has she graduated yet?

Hey,

I still check periodically to see the progress here, I don't believe I'll ever drop off indefinitely. Though I can't contribute much at all in terms of work on the game, I'll be playing or at least trying the product regardless of how much ass it sucks.

Cheers

A while back I saw Turles on AIM, maybe one day I'll be like "DAMASCA, GO, NOW" and he'll listen...assuming I ever see him on again. And Synial? I see him on MSN often enough, but I doubt he's really interested in Damasca. Aeglos and Celine are on messengers as well, I'm sure someone wouldn't have too tough of a time getting ahold of them.

Oh, and hi again Spook.

Celine's only recently been hanging around MSN again, and I've *never* seen Aeglos on, despite my having his latest (Damasca-posted) SN's.
